Hydrant Pump

Hydrant pump merupakan salah satu komponen yang ada dalam sistem proteksi kebakaran Fire Hydrant.




Hydrant pump memiliki tiga jenis dalam sistem hydrant yang bekerja secara bersamaan. Ada pun di antaranya adalah jockey pump, electric pump, dan diesel pump.






Jockey pump bekerja sebagai penstabil tekanan air yang digunakan sebagai media fire system. Pompa jockey mulai bekerja ketika tekanan air berada pada 6-8 bar.







Sementara electric pump bekerja untuk memasok air dari tandon menuju output hydrant. Pompa ini bekerja empat kali lipat lebih besar daripada jockey pump.


Seperti namanya, electric pump menggunakan tenaga listrik PLN sebagai dayanya. Namun sayang, biasanya saat terjadi kebaran akan terjadi listrik padam.








Ketika listrik PLN padam, maka di sinilah diesel pump bekerja. Pompa diesel berkerja menggunakan bensin atau solar sebagai bahan bakarnya.
